Anne, Princess Royal Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise, is celebrating her 70th birthday on Saturday, August 15th. The only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Anne is a well-respected member of the British royal family.

Anne has been involved in various charitable and public service initiatives throughout her life. She is the patron of over 200 organizations, including the Save the Children Fund, the British Red Cross, and the Royal National Institute for the Deaf.

In addition to her charitable work, Anne is also an accomplished equestrian. She represented Great Britain in eventing at the 1976 Montreal Olympics and won two gold medals at the European Championships.
